Overview

Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker is a platform/beat ’em up game featuring the King of Pop rescuing children kidnapped by Mr. Big in six levels themed after the Moonwalker movie, which was released in 1998, and packed with goons and other baddies, such as zombies.

It was developed and released by Sega in 1990 to the arcades, Master System and Mega Drive (Genesis), albeit the home versions being quite different from the first, presenting a more Shinobi-like gameplay in side scrolling stages where you can only walk horizontally.

In Moonwalker, Mr. Big has kidnapped children and has nasty things in store for them, like drugs and slavery. It’s up to Michael to use his magical powers and dancing talent to try to catch Mr. Big and rescue his friends.

Michael Jackson can jump, throw his magical hat, and dance to counter his opponents as he looks for the hidden children. Stages come in various shapes and sizes, such as gang ruled streets and graveyards.

What we have here for you to play is the Sega Master System port of Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker ready to be played online, in your browser. You don’t need to install anything, just load the page, start the game and have fun!
