Overview

Kung Fu Remix is an online remake of the 8-bit NES version of the Kung-Fu Master, a classic arcade beat ’em up fighting game released in 1984, by Irem. It features faithful graphics and gameplay to the original and can be played in your browser.

In Kung-Fu Master, known in Japan as Spartan X (スパルタンX), you are Keiji Thomas, and your girlfriend, Sylvia, has been kidnapped by “Mr. X”. Now you have to fight through floors full of enemies to rescue her.

Controls

  • Arrow Keys: Movement
  • Space Bar: Select on main title
  • Z: Punch
  • X: Kick
  • P: Pause (can’t be used against bosses)
  • Shift: Run
  • 1 2 or 3: Specials (can’t be used against a boss)
