Death Rally had its classic version ported for Windows and released as a freeware by its own developer in 2009. That means you can play it for free without having to deal with any major issues in your modern PC.

Created by Remedy and published by Apogee originally in 1996 for MS-DOS, Death Rally is an awesome and classic top-down racing game that features vehicular combat, dirty opponents, famous pilots such as Duke Nukem, and a lot of fun.

The basic idea behind Death Rally is to win races, gather more money, buy upgrades to your vehicle. In between, wreck your opponents, shoot your way through bystanders and keep the pedal to the metal!

Any PC that can run Windows XP SP3, Vista or Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit). Please read the readme in the installation package for more information.
