This is a fairly good Kaboom! remake, a game originally designed by by Larry Kaplan and published by Activision in 1981 for the Atari 2600. Later, it was ported to Atari 5200 and the Atari 8-bit family of computers. This flash version has very similar graphics, sounds and gameplay, but you use the mouse to play.

In the top of the screen, there is a dude dropping bombs. You have to stop these, catching with a bucket, avoiding them to explode.

Points are scored for every bomb caught. Extra buckets are awarded at every 1,000 points, and one bucket is lost every time a bomb is missed. As the game progresses, it’s get tougher. The “Mad Bomber” gets much more erratically, dropping bombs at increasingly higher speeds, making each level more difficult.

  • Click the yellow play button in the right bottom to start.
  • Mouse to move.
  • Left click to start the dropping of bombs.
