Missile Command

Missile Command is one of the most iconic classic games from early arcade machines and Atari 2600. It was released by Atari Inc. in 1980. Later it has been ported to other consoles and had a lot of clones.

The player’s must defend six cities with laser beans from an endless hail of ballistic missiles. Sometimes, the missiles split like multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles (MIRVs).

As the game progresses, there are some levels with smart bombs that can evade the counter missiles.
