Overview

Eat My Dust is an online top-down racing game with retro graphics, top-down perspective, and browser-based Flash gameplay, developed by videogiochi, where you can choose which track to race on and try your best to win.

If you manage to succeed, you’ll move on to the next round and compete in another race with Formula 1-style cars. Don’t forget to collect all the wrenches to upgrade your vehicle — those improvements will definitely help you out.

It’s worth noting that, with its simple and colorful visuals, Eat My Dust feels like a real patchwork of retro racing: the graphics are reminiscent of early ’80s arcade racing games like Sprint 2 (1976), Grand Prix (1982), and F-1 (1984), while the gameplay unmistakably echoes titles such as R.C. Pro-Am (NES), R.C. Grand Prix (Master System), and — with less sophistication and no vehicular combat — the classic Death Rally (PC). The result is a charming blend of nostalgia and straightforward arcade fun.
