Published (or updated) in April 17th, 2024.In this post, we teach how to get infinite health and ammo and a machine gun in Assault City — a Master System game that looks like Zillion, but it’s not —, a trick that should help you a lot.
For those who don’t know, Assault City is a rail shooter and shooting gallery developed by Sanritsu Denki, published by Sega in 1990 and available in two versions, one compatible with the Light Phaser pistol and the other using the directional pad to aim. The objective is to destroy killer robots that are attacking humanity.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any other cheats for this game, although the one you have will certainly be very useful for you to reach the end without any hassle. However, there is playthrough of Assault City to help you even fiuther.
Infinite health and ammo
On the title screen of Assault City in its gamepad version (other than Light Phaser), hold the directional pad up along with buttons 1 and 2. You will now have a machine gun and infinite health. Sometimes your health will decrease, but you won’t die even if it reaches 0.
Note that we consider the original Master System controls here. If you are playing on an emulator, configure the inputs correctly there.
