Overview

In Zero Wing (ゼロウィング), the player is a lone hero who will save the universe from an evil force. This R-Type-like game was originally developed by Toaplan and published by Taito in 1998.

This is a fair online version of this side-scrolling shoot ’em up arcade game, that has been ported before to other systems, like PC Engine CD-ROM and Mega Drive.

Controls

  • Arrow Keys – Move
  • Button 4 – S (Shoots)
  • Button 2 – X (Special)
  • Use your special weapon to grab enemies and use them as shield. You can also throw them by pressing X again.
  • Insert Coin – Shift
  • Start – Enter
  • Attention: These controls are default. Hover your mouse into the lower part of the screen and a control bar will show up. Then you can customize the controls the way you want.
