Elona Shooter is a very fun and challenging chaotic Flash defense shooter with RPG elements based on Elona, an independent role-playing video game from the same creator.
Defense
Defense (or defence) games, are the ones that you have to defend your base, preventing enemies, that come from a single direction, from invading it. It is a shooting subgenre, but can also envolve strategy. The player usually rely on a variety of weapons and must aim and shoot the enemies with these. The use of traps, base upgrades and friendly NPCs, that help shooting the invaders, are common too. The character the player controls, usually can move inside the base, which can be seen from some perspective, other than first person. The player can’t let the enemies reach the base, which usually means losing hit points, ’till the end of a determined period, usually a day. Good examples of Defense games are Last Stand 1 and 2, Elona Shooter, The Pocalypse Defense and Storm The House 3.
