Scroll of Magisha

Scroll of Magisha is a short, free, indie 2D turn-based RPG set in a world that combines dieselpunk and fantasy where magic has become illegal. It was developed by Hyuugis and initially released on October 29, 2023.

Published by Hyuugis himself and available for Windows, Scroll of Magisha features retro graphics reminiscent of Chrono Trigger and some interesting gimmicks that give a special role to the leader of the group of heroes.

Plot

In this world, sorcerers are called Magisha. They are hunted by the government, whose laws make magic illegal, and by the cult of Fate.

This game tells the story of Cillian, a young cadet of the Emeldian Empire sent to capture one of the Magisha.

Gameplay

Scroll of Magisha is a turn-based RPG where there are three playable characters. Using the Shift key, one can switch between them to use different field skills in the dungeon, and depending on the main character, the words that NPCs would say to the party can change.

The game lasts about 90 minutes.
