Overview

Play the Game Boy version of the Avenging Spirit, a cool platform game developed by C.P. Brain and released by Jaleco, in 1991, originally to the arcades,

Known in Japan as Phantasm (ファンタズム), Avenging Spirit is about a wandering spirit what needs to rescue your girlfriend, who was kidnapped by a mysterious crime syndicate. Once a special agent who got shot to death by the syndicate, you were summoned by your girlfriend’s father and, as a ghost, you can now possess the living and use their bodies to help you on your quest.

Rescue your girlfriend as an Avenging Spirit and make everything right so you can, finally, rest in peace!

The game feature a plot filled with twists and betrayal, and two different endings which are based on whether you can actually save the girl or not.

• ENTER: Start
• Z: A
• X: B
• To save your game: hover over the emulator screen and use the icons to save your progress. Down arrow icon (save), Up arrow icon (load).
